Rene Marie Russo is an American actor, filmmaker, and a former supermodel. Alongside her stunning elegance, her continued successes in the film industry proves her skills as a performer. Young model she began her career in the 1970s. Then she became a household name within the world of modeling. She studied theatre and acting at the start of the decade before appearing on stages at Los Angeles, and other areas of California. Her first screen appearance was in ABCs 1989 drama Sable in which she was Eden Kendell. She played Tom Berengers' love interest the following year with Major League, her debut film. He was born into a Lithuanian family. Rose was a basketball player and kickeboxing when she was growing to be a teenager. at the age of 18, she began her professional career with Invicta Fighting Championships in which she took two wins through submission. The fights caught the eye to Dana White who signed her to be a part of the UFC s strawweight division in December 2014 at just twenty-two years of age. In the course of Rose's professional career, she's been through periods of highs and lows but each victory has been hers. Rose fought Carla Esparza to win the Women s Strawweight Championship in The Ultimate Fighter 20 Finale. Rose won with a technical knockout after under three minutes Round One. Rose was also named Fighter Of The Night and made history as it marked the first time that a woman had ever competed at a championship level with a major promoter all over the world. Following this victory Namajunas was able to have a number of other victories in which she defeated Joanna Jedrzejczyk twice which earned her Performance Of The Night honors from UFC after these wins .
